SYBC now has a $1,000 Scholarship Opportunity for all Senior Girls & Boys Basketball players! 

Click on this Application, complete it, and submit it into SYBC for your consideration. We will be choosing 1 Boy Senior & 1 Girl Senior for this $1,000 Scholarship. Our selection criteria is listed below;

1.) York Suburban Senior
2.) Participated in SYBC (minimum of 3 years)
3.) Planned attendance at a two- or four-year college or technical school (Future recipients will have their scholarship check sent directly to their college or technical school at the start of the Fall semester)
4.) Sports Resume
5.) Documents Required:
● Letter of recommendation from a former coach or influential adult. The recommendation should include the writer’s name, address, contact phone
number, email, and a description of the nature of the relationship to the applicant.
6.) Completed Essay Requirement (pick 1): Write a 250 word or less essay addressing one of the following topics:
● Describe a lesson that playing basketball has taught you, such as teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, or work ethic.
● Discuss a coach that has made the biggest impact on your life and why.
● Summarize what the game of basketball has meant to you and why.
